Description

RCA Living Stereo SB 2103, first red label disc with silver spot, pressed in England by Decca.  Stampers are 1S 1S.  Just so there is no confusion, these are Decca stampers, not RCA stampers.  This is the earliest UK issue, but there is no connection between this and the US RCA 1S issue.  Laminated flipback jacket has scalloped flipbacks.  Original recording by RCA, issued in the US as LSC 2436.

Respighi, The Pines of Rome and The Fountains of Rome, with Fritz Reiner and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  See pics for program details.
