Description
ECLECTION - Same ( Elektra EKL 4023 , UK 1968)
Here we have the very rare UK mono original 1st pressing on the red (big "E") Elektra label, with machine stamped matrix and A1/B1 ending. Really not easy to find - especially in this beautiful condition. Musically a top folk based album with some baroque pop and US wectcoast influences. Including future Fotheringay members Gerry Conway and Trevor Lucas, also Michael Rosen (later in Mogul Trash)...
The gatefold front laminated cover (made by Ernest J. Day & Co.) is in excellent (ex) condition, has only very tiny wear on corners, seams anbd spine (a few spots)
The record is also in top excellent to excellent plus (ex/ex+) condition, only a few paper scuffs, plays clean !
