The condition of the cover is VG+ with some fraying/splitting on the spine. The condition of the disc is a very clean EX with only a minimal amount of light sleeve scuffs. The vinyl still has a high gloss and it plays great!
Behold and See, the first release from 1968, was similar to their first album and a little more smoothly crafted. Excellent mix of fuzz guitar and gushing organ mixed with way-out lyrics ... Barbara Hudson didn't have any lead vocals (although guest vocalist Carol Lee Britt sings on some of the albums highlights), and Bruce-Douglas' songwriting was still very druggy. The mysterious Bruce-Douglas disbanded Ultimate Spinach after the second LP was recorded, leaving producer/group manager Lorber holding the bag, as a third Ultimate Spinach album had already been scheduled for release. Still the album retains a host of self composed tracks played with high spirited if not wiggy acid induced instrumentations which develope affectively in grooves such as "Gilded Lamp Of The Cosmos", 9:38 "Mind Flowers", 9:56 "Genesis Of Beauty" and much more in the same vein ...a 'heady' listeners delight ...
