Description

Earliest UK pressing of MEGA MEGA RARE DISRAELI GEARS. Cat No.593003

The covers are in EX+ condition. CLEAR,CLEAN and BRIGHT.   Only slight fraying on the corners.

The inner sleeve is in EX condition for it's age, only slight discolouring.

The record is in EX condition and has A1\B1 matrix.

The labels are in Ex condition.  Side one has a very small stain near the bottom credits and some minor denting around the spindle hole.    Side two also has minor denting around centre hole, other wise OK 

I've been doing some research on this record and heres what I've been able to find out.

This copy has the double miscredited labels, which were the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS and immediately corrected after the fault was discovered.

The bottom credit on side one is miscredited to "Windfall Music" but on all later pressings was credited to "Immediate Music"

The bottom credit on side two is miscredited to" Apple Publishing" but on later pressing was changed to "copyright Control".

Also on side one\ two it has the date 1967 but on all later pressings this changes to 1966!

The centre of each label on the earliest pressings have two ridges around the centre hole, while all later copies have only one.

The Vinyl is much heavier than later pressings

All this makes this record SERIOUSLY RARE!!

Being the 1st pressing this LP has the fully laminated cover which is the earliest possible, with the REACTION LOGO on the back cover in WHITE, the later ones were black.   Also the right hand track listings on the rear cover are in white, later ones were black!!!!

This record has been in my collection from new.
