THIS IS THE FIRST PRESSING OF THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK ISSUE OF DAVY GRAHAM’S “MIDNIGHT MAN” LP AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THIS WAS DAVY’S SECOND DECCA LP AND SOLD FAIRLY POORLY AT THE TIME. MOST COPIES GOT KNOCKED AROUND SO IT IS CONSEQUENTLY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is LK 4780 on the red Decca mono label. The record was not available in stereo. Matrix numbers are ARL-7175-1A and ARL-7176-1A.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and ONLY THE VERY VERY LIGHTEST spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The laminated cover is in AMAZING condition (see picture)! It has NO wear to spine. There is NO edgewear to the open edges. The front cover has a 5cm diagonal crease starting 11cm above the bottom left corner and going down. There are two LIGHT vertical creases at the bottom of the front cover – one is 1cm and the other 0.5cm. There is only the TINIEST HINT of cornerwear to the EXTREME corners of the front cover. There are NO thumb creases. There are NO creases to the main body of the cover. There is NO rubbing to the front cover and NO ringwear. There is some discolouration at the EXTREME opening edges of the front cover (see picture). The front cover FULLY retains its initial glossy look (see picture).
The only blemishes to the back cover are VERY MINOR discolouration to the top and bottom edges and two 1cm LIGHT horizontal creases near to bottom of the spine (see picture).
All these details of blemishes are evident under a strong light – essentially the cover looks almost new!
THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE AND LEGENDARY UK LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
