Description
THIS IS A RARE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1977 UK ISSUE OF THE NIC JONES LP “THE NOAH’S ARK TRAP” ON THE TRAILER LABEL. THIS WAS NIC’S THIRD LP AND IS HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND TYPE. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number LER 291 on the YELLOW UK TRAILER label and is in Stereo.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE but these Trailer covers were not particularly substantial so there are defects (see pictures). It has NO wear to the spine. The front cover has a 0.5cm horizontal crease 8cm above the bottom left corner. There is wear to the EXTREME bottom left and top right corners. There are SEVERAL diagonal creases to the bottom right corner covering the area 2cm above and 2cm to the left of the corner. There is slight ringwear to the top and more visible ringwear to the bottom of the front cover. There is NO other rubbing to the front cover. There is a 9cm diagonal crease going upwards starting halfway down the open edge of the cover. There is a 3cm vertical thumb crease 8cm below and 8cm across from the top right (open edge) corner. There is ONLY THE TINIEST HINT of edgewear to the open edges. Despite these defects the front cover retains nearly all of its initial strong fresh colour.
The bottom of the back cover has four horizontal creases from the spine – the longest is 1cm. There is LIGHT wear to the EXTREME bottom left and right corners. There is a HINT of ringwear to the top and bottom of the back cover. Apart from that, the back cover actually looks close to new. The covers for Trailer LPs were never very firm or strong – I’ve looked after this record extremely well so I doubt you will find a cover much better than this.
THIS IS A RARE UK LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!
I TRY TO MAKE MY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE CONDITION OF ITEMS VERY PRECISE.
SEE FEEDBACK FROM MY RECENT BUYERS AND BIDS WITH CONFIDENCE.
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
