Description

LP.                                          O.ST.  LE ISOLE DELL'AMORE

                                                                             PIERO UMILIANI

Label & catalog number : CINEVOX MDF 33/42

Country , year : ITALY - 1971

Conditions : cover shows a minimal wear on the back, NEAR MINT  / disc has a few scuffs and sleeve marks which do not affect play at all, EX+

STRICTLY GRADED

Notes : music and orchestra Piero Umiliani. Magic atmospheres mainly based on an excellent revisal of popular Tahitian music. In particular we may enjoy listening at some well-percussive "tamourès" or at the exciting rhythm of a native song mixed up to modern female scats on " VELE AL MARE ". Besides the romantic themes, moderately rhythmical and well-accompanied by female wordless vocals, as on " NUKU ", " LE ISOLE DELL'AMORE (Finale) " and " ISOLANE TUTTOFARE ", the better in my opinion. At last a curious and inusual sort of an instrumental country-ballad - " COMUNITA' HIPPY " - underlined by the exotic sound of the electric guitar. 18 tracks.

An Italian mondo, directed by Pino De Martino.
