Description
Unity & Fire – I Know a Girl / Nothing Brings You Nothing 7” vinyl release on Delicious Records from 1988 (WGO101 / WGO102).
You are bidding for an original copy of this collectable single by Unity & Fire.
Very little has been documented about this 5 piece band which comprised of Tony on Vocals, Dave on Keyboards, Stephen on Fretless Bass, Bob on Guitar and Ian on drums, but this their only single recorded and produced at Kings Recording Studio in Birmingham in 1988 is now highly sought after by collectors and is rarely offered for sale.
Visually the vinyl is in great condition with just a few light marks visible under a good light. Audibly it plays great with nothing more serious to note than a little light background noise to the run in / out of each side, and an occasional click or pop, so overall I would grade this as a nice Ex copy.
The labels are nice and clean with very little evidence of spindle marking so I grade them as Ex.
The monochrome picture sleeve is also in super condition. There is a small price tag tear (5mm) in top right corner but this is difficult to distinguish as it looks to be part of the wall. Other than this, there is some minor wear to the corners / edges and slight ring wear, but overall this is still in very collectable condition so again something I would grade as Ex-
Overall then a really nice copy of this rare and collectable single graded as Ex/Ex- (Vinyl/Sleeve).
