Description
Up for auction is this EXTREMELY RARE LP by THE UNIVERSAL JUBILEERS' titled "WE ARE THE UNIVERSAL JUBILEERS'".
This is the ONLY copy of this LP listed. I researched this LP, only to find a few pictures of it, and a collector who had a copy of this, which appeared to have water stains, very very hard to find.
The Universal Jubileers' are a group out of Chicago westside. There is a little bio on the back of the LP for reference.
Produced by H. Farmer
Recorded at Odyssey Source Studios, Chicago, ILL.
H.L.F. Records 7277
Genre: Gospel
Sub Genre: Funk/Soul/Disco.
Side One: See pictures 4 & 8
Side Two: See pictures 7 & 8
Dated...Unknown. I am thinking late 60's, early 70's due to the clothing the group is wearing. Every place I researched, they listed date as unknown. I noticed what appears to be a date on the label. It says 1977 HLF on the right side of the label. Probably the date recorded.
Album is in Very Good+-Excellent Condition. Some light scratches, scuffs but do not affect play. LP should probably be professionally cleaned, I did a light clean with spring water and a soft cloth. Plain generic white inner sleeve, original to the LP. Cover in EX condition, with partial shrink still attached, which has protected the cover. Slight corner nicks and very light wear. A very nice copy of this amazingly hard to find album.
