Description
Up for auction is a copy of Keep On Knockin’ backed with Rock ‘n’ Roll World, on an Emidisc acetate. Artist, release date etc is unknown, but “Keep On Knockin’” is a cover of the song most famously covered by Little Richard, while “Rock ‘n’ Roll World” appears to be a band original. Sounds like early/mid 1970s, a bit glammy, though obviously rooted in the r’n’r revival sounds of the era; it’s a good deal heavier & authentic than – say – Showaddywaddy. Seems to be unreleased; if it was issued anywhere, it’s completely under the radar.
Condition: a few marks on either side, but still plays well, surprisingly so for an acetate. VG.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
