Description
Unknown artists 10" 4 track metal acetate.
Please note: I have tried really hard and spent a lot of time trying to source find the artists on this acetate but without any luck.
All I can do is describe each track and hopefully someone out there will know. 2 of the tracks have backing vox but are mainly instrumentals.
Track 4: I'll start with the only track with lyrics, track is high energy with chorus of "Go man go" with further lyrics of "Listen to me fellas, listen to me while you can" this is upbeat and seems to be rock n roll, I've searched the track title on Discogs, Popsike, Youtube and Internet and played all the ones I found on there via Youtube, none of them sound like this track. The track also has some drop outs with fast talking during beat and there is a saxophone on this too.
Track 1: Twangy upbeat guitar with doo doo doo backing vox, few shreaks here and there, no lyrics as such.
Track 2: Kind of rock and roll instrumental with jazzy piano solo, saxophone, kind of slow boogie woogie.
Track 3: Electric guitar picked with slide, has piano stabs in the background (reminds me of The Shadows), then a flute comes in around half way through the track. Record no: Unknown. Date: Unknown reckon 50's. Tracks: Go man go is the only track I can work out the titled for and can't find it anywhere.
The acetate is in excellent condition with light signs of play, has some light surface marks and a few light scratches, this plays fine with some crackle to the dead areas, does not stick or jump.
Overall a nice and possibly rare example wish I knew who the artists were. Maybe worth a punt!
