WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE and ORIGINAL UK 1965 EMIDISC DOUBLE SIDED NORTHERN SOUL DEMO ACETATE PRESSING by BARBARA BANKS + 1 UNKNOWN, ORIGINAL UK ACETATE PRESSING IN AMAZING CONDITION !!!
WOW, this is a REAL FIND, a DOUBLE SIDED UK EMIDISC DEMO ACETATE from BARBARA BANKS from 1965 that I suspect is the only one in existence !!!
The track “AIN’T I WORTH A DIME” was never released in the UK and only saw a US release in 1965 on SMASH RECORDS, This Acetate version sounds like a slightly different mix to the original US version, but that could be for the fact it is pressed on an ACETATE, you decide !!! The B side as far as I could find was NEVER RELEASED but could also be by BARBARA BANKS (although the vocals sounds different), or it could be an UNRELEASED track from GAIL KELLY from 1966 that I found a mention of on the net (also on an Acetate), but I couldn't find a sound file for it to compare, please let me know !!! These tracks were obviously considered for a UK release but that was canceled for some reason !!! This was a UK ARDMORE & BEECHWOOD LTD PUBLISHING ACETATE which I have bought the library from !!! These are true CLASSIC NORTHERN SOUL tracks !!!
You can hear a sound clip from this UK ACETATE on my YOUTUBE channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilnVz9ja_mI

The tracks are: AIN’T I WORTH A DIME / ANYONE IN THE WORLD.
The ACETATE was pressed by ARDMORE & BEECHWOOD MUSIC through the EMIDISC FACILITIES !!! The condition of the ACETATE is in VG+++/ EX condition (LOOKS IN AMAZING CONDITION for this age acetate with only minor scuffs ) !!!
