The Detmore Pink - Ballad Of The Wedding Of The Rails/Spinach (Carousel 8" acetate, 1968/69, Utah)
Description:
Most probably from 1968 or 1969, this acetate's flip is more than a pleasant surprise. Utah psych/garage sound with lots of fuzz! It doesn't seem to have been released. Some history details: There were two of these acetates listed on eBay a few months ago from the same seller and I've bid on (and won) both, just in case the versions of the songs were (even slightly) different. It turned out they are exactly the same cuts and only the name of the band is different (in the other acetate songs are credited to The Four Gone Conclusion). So, I've decided to give this away and keep the one with the cleaner labels. That's about all information I could provide. Just listen to the sample below and be the judge if you want this one. Low-fi production. The reserve is 250$ which I consider quite reasonable. I will not end this auction early.

Acetate is EX with just few light scratches.

GRADING
I try to grade records accurately as I buy records all the time and I really hate misgradings. All records will be cleaned and graded under bright light. The scale I use is NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR, BAD. I will play almost all records and post a grade for the audio quality ranging from 1 (no music, just noise) to 10 (crystal clear sound). Of .course the latter is purely subjective and that's why most of the times I will have a sample attached in high quality mp3 format, so you can judge for yourselves.
NOTE: All samples are taken from the record in auction with absolutelly NO digital processing involved.
