RARE E Berliner Gramophone 7" Disc
~REVISED DESCRIPTION / ADDITIONAL PICTURES~
For bid is a very early Berliner Gramophone record. This is a one-sided recording #494 of an early black banjo duet, Cullen and Collins.
I am putting up additional pictures as the original picture did not do it justice. It was dirty and shot at night. I have since gently cleaned it with a soft cloth and water. The smudge turned out to be dirt.
There is no paper label but rather an imprinted and handwritten "label". Record appears to have slight pock indents and very light surface scratches, but in otherwise VG to Excellent condition. Please keep in mind I am not a record expert by any means.
This record plays with a haunting sound of yester-year and with the usual crackling background sounds. This record is not warped, chipped, nor does it have any edge flaking.
As for the label itself, there is one scratch as you can see in the picture, but it is not deep. From what I can make out of it, it reads as follows:
