Uriah Heep : Look At Yourself A-3U / B-2U Early Press Mirror Sleeve Bronze Records
This early pressing plays to a very high standard with only minimal intrusion and as always I have played the album in full.  Please see below for a full run down on each track - as you can see the clarity, depth and power of the audio is very impressive.  The vinyl itself is in excellent shape with only some faint hairlines.
The cover kind of falls between very good and excellent so I think an Ex- grading is fair.  The main issue is one small scuff mark near the top edge.  The lyric inner sleeve is in great condition with only very minimal wear.

The audio on S1 is Near Mint- (T1 Mint- / T3 ranges between Ex+ & Mint-)
The audio on S2 ranges Ex & Mint-
The 'mirror' cover is Ex-   The lyric inner is Ex++
The Bronze labels are Near Mint
Visual description
The vinyl is in excellent condition and still has a strong glossy look with no obvious marks or scratches.  Under a bright light I can see some faint hairlines and there is nothing that stands out.  There is no groove or surface wear and the run out grooves are very clean.  The Bronze labels are very clean with only minimal spindle wear.
Play Grading
The intro on 'Look At Yourself' is loud and clear with no distortion and the opening vocal section plays perfectly.  It continues in the same precise way with no ticks, clicks, pops or static.  Typical Heep basically - driving rock with strong musicianship (loud!) and powerful vocals including the background vocal.  The mid instrumental is superb and the percussive work towards the end of the track is even better!  It builds in spectacular fashion with Hensley's organ the perfect accompaniment.  This is without doubt a Mint- start to the album.
The loud / quiet intro on 'I Wanna Be Free' plays with stunning precision and the quiet first verse has no intrusion either.  The instrumental bridge is flawless and the next more powerful vocal plays with great quality and again there is no distortion on the top end.  This high end standard is kept up as it progresses - the final vocal section has no background and the dynamic end section plays with phenomenal power and depth but... with one light background click.  I think Near Mint- is a fair assessment of the audio overall.
The classic 'July Morning' begins perfectly with a faultless intro and the first verse is close to that with only a couple of minor statics, the clarity of sound is stunning.  As the volume builds into the chorus the audio is strong and clear and the next quiet verse plays beautifully without any background.  The next chorus / instrumental / chorus plays with genuine quality also.  The repeated first verse has a little static for a few seconds but it's not really that intrusive.  The end instrumental is of course long and it plays with very impressive power and definition and with the bare minimum of inner groove distortion, much less than I have heard before!  Great live I can imagine!  This ranges between Ex+ and Mint- but with more of the latter!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The intro on 'Tears In My Eyes' is strong and clear and the opening vocal section is just as impressive.  The first relatively quiet section has barely any background and the following 'vocal' / instrumental section is STUNNING!  The audio is so clean and precise, it just could not play any better.  The brief pause is 100% silent and then the concluding section including the final vocal keeps up the good work with immaculate audio.  Mint- is richly deserved here.
The powerful intro on 'Shadows Of Grief' is more or less perfect with only a couple of minor statics.  Byron's opening vocal is flawless and the first instrumental of substance rocks out loud and true with no distortion, it sounds fantastic!  The quieter mid 'vocal' section again demonstrates the clarity on offer here and the next high octane section cannot be faulted.  The final instrumental piece where the music builds plays so well with only a small number of light static ticks and the quieter section plays with great clarity.  The final few seconds has only minimal static for 2/3 seconds - this is Near Mint - a genuine prog rocker!
'What Should Be Done' has some very light background static on the intro and then the opening vocal plays very clearly with barely any background.  It progresses in a very similar way - perhaps the clarity isn't quite on the same level as the previous tracks but it still sounds damn good!  It's just a shade below the others - no clicks or pops but perhaps just very slightly 'muffled' but it is very minor I hasten add.  A little static on the fade out also.  Ex+
The quiet intro on 'Love Machine' plays with great clarity and the following high powered section plays with some inner groove distortion.  The vocal is much improved and plays very clearly on the whole.  It continues loud and powerful with not too much distortion and there is no other background.  The end section has a little static but again it's not loud.  I'll say Ex for this track.
The 'Mirror' Cover & Lyric Inner
The cover is in very good condition to excellent condition with only a little shelf wear.  The edges are very clean and the spine is similar with minimal rubbing on one edge.  The corners are in superb order with very little wear and the opening edge is the same.  The front cover has one small scuff mark near the top but is otherwise very clean.  The 'mirror' is still firmly in place and there are only 3/4 minor rubs on the edges - one photo shows the mirror effect on my hand!   As can be seen there is a large 'offer' sticker in the top right corner.  The back cover is in great condition with no marking.  A very respectable example overall.
The printed lyric inner is in superb shape with no side splits or tears and no creasing.  It has just a little faint spotting around a couple of edges.

Postage & Packaging

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
