Description

This is a very rare example of the 1970  FIRST PRESSING of Uriah Heep’s album ‘Very ‘Eavy, Very ‘Umble’. It comes complete with the original gatefold sleeve, original inner sleeve with the Vertigo swirl and the first press disc with the Matrix numbers 6360006 1Y1 and 6360006 2Y1 and all song credits on one side , the Vertigo swirl on the other side of the disc.

This disc is part of my personal record collection and has been in my possession since purchase in 1970. It has been rarely played as it was my practice to record all new discs to my stereo tape deck , play the recordings on a day to day basis and archive the discs. I apply the Record Collector Magazine grading classification rigorously to all the discs I offer for sale. The ratings are

Gatefold Sleeve: in EXCELLENT++  condition , the only issue being very slight marking (almost invisible) to the rear side of the sleeve.

Inner Sleeve: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT  condition – just slight creasing to what is a  thin original Vertigo inner sleeve.

Disc: The disc is almost perfect – there are two minor clicks on Track 2 Side 2, otherwise it is perfect. . On this basis it is classified as EXCELLENT++
