Another from my personal collection of over 50,000 UK albums that I have accumulated over a period of more than 45 years or more! This is the earliest possible 1st UK Pressing of Uriah Heep's "Wonderworld " album released in 1974 very scarce and collectable to find in this condition! One of my favorite all time Uriah Heep albums and very under rated in my personal opinion. The audio quality is absolutely stunning through out this album ,Features the earliest possible '1' to '1' mother stampers (for the best audio available on vinyl in my opinion) The vinyl looks and sounds like it has barely ever been played in my opinion. The audio is graded as very very near mint for the most part, cristal clear and very, very vibrant through out. (light isolated static/ ticks/crackle may be heard at some intros or in between tracks only.) There are no needle scratches or marks that would cause any loud annoying constant clicks or pops on this vinyl. The original 1st issue un- laminated Robor Limited printed cover is also in exceptional condition being stored in a case with the vinyl removed and separated from the cover for protection, . This is how I have always stored my records! Cover is also graded at least better than excellent in my opinion! A very collectable and sought after album especially in this condition!

Wonderworld is the seventh album by British rock band Uriah Heep, released in 1974 by Bronze Records in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US.
The original vinyl release was a single sleeve, with the lyrics reproduced on the inner liner.
The album was the last to feature bass player Gary Thain.
AllMusic's retrospective review noted that "Wonderworld continues in the vein of Sweet Freedom, trying to bring Uriah Heep's appeal to a wider level while still retaining the grandiose trademark elements (the organ-guitar attack, David Byron's operatic shriek) that got them noticed".
Comparing it to the band's prior work, reviewer Donald A. Guarisco added that "The result is an album that is solid but not as inspired as Look at Yourself or Demons and Wizards. The hard rock quotient is a little stronger on this album".
All songs written and arranged by Uriah Heep

Side 2 "ILPS 9280 B-2"
The Mother Stampers
Side 1 '1' 'GD' (Look Earliest '1' to'1' Mother stampers for the best audio on vinyl)
Side 2 '1' 'AA' (Look Earliest '1' to'1' Mother stampers for the best audio on vinyl)
The Vinyl
This is the original thicker , heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest original pressings! (Later press are much more flimsier and less robust)!
The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warps. The vinyl has retained its original sheen from new in my opinion on initial inspection this looks like it has obviously not been played that much and in my opinion, On close inspection any marks that could possibly be seen would be very light sleeve removal/scuffs/scratches only but importantly no audio sounding marks or needle marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops that I heard at all!
The audio quality
I have played this track for track at very loud volume prior to listing at very loud volume two times! From the moment that the needle hits the playing surface , it is obvious that this vinyl not only visually but audibly has only had very very minimal play only! The audio is stunning cristal clear and vibrant, very bright and clear throughout without any signs of distortion at all and plays with a lovely deep bassey feel only found like this on earliest pressings! Note: Light static/ticks/crackle was noted in between some tracks and at the intro to one track only I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to very near mint for the most part in my opinion!
Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for isolated static/ticks only, and not consistent through out the audio. Please remember that this is a genuine 42 year old record that would have originally been played on a 42 year old system.
The Labels
These are the original Bronze labels (see photos) The labels are rich in colour and are very clean , all text is fully readable. It is obvious to me that this vinyl has only had barely been played. Minimal spidering only can be seen when angled to the light. The spindle hole is free of any ware and of course is perfectly round!
The Record Sleeve
This is the original picture lyric insert record sleeve no splits or tares, but becoming fragile at the edges. Light creasing/browning with age only "Made In England" This is the original!
The Cover
This Is The Original 1st UK issue Un- laminated, 'Robor Limited' printed printed cover in absolutely stunning condition through out, concidering this is 42 years old and primarily dark in color! Clean and very straight in appearance. No splits or tares. all text is readable! There is light rubbing/storage wear only! no real nasty creases to report, any ther are, you have to look to notice. . Any indents or marks on this cover you have to look to notice. The cover has always been seperated from the vinyl and sleeve since purchased from new! The rear is also very clean indeed again with very light ware with age! The spine is square Unbeleivably rare like this! Graded at least better than excellent in my opinion!
