Description
ARTIST: United States Navy Port Authority Soul Band
LABEL: #72838
TITLE: Together
CONDITION:
Sleeve: Beautiful! The front & back covers are gorgeous and Mint- / The rest of the cover is almost Mint- / Has just 2 small corner dings, a little light top seam wear, a tiny spot of bottom seam wear and a tiny partial split at the bottom of the spine
Record: Retains high original gloss w/ some light surface scuffs, mostly on Side A. Plays a strong VG++ to almost Mint- w/ some very light random background surface noise. Great sound presence! / VPI cleaned / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have been played once.
COMMENTS: Beautiful original copy of this rare early 70s Navy recruitment promotional record in textured sleeve. It's a killer Funk & Soul groove LP that features the vocals of Rose Lewis, Jim Allen, Don Ledbetter & David Carradine.
Tracks : Scoobe...Can't Get Down. If I Can't Get Up...We're All the Same...D.C. Walk...You Had To Know...Hold On...I'm For Real...So Sad...Super Strut...Someday We'll All Be Free...
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
