JAN & LORRAINE - Gypsy people (ABC - 691, USA 1969)
From Detroit / Michigan comes this talented group, whos released one of the best (in my opinion) hippie psych folk album on a major label in the 60ies. Inventive tracks with male / female vocals, excllent playing on various guitars, bass, drums, percussions, piano, organ kazoo, tamboura and tablas. The beautiful cover design (see scan) was made from Connie Keelan, the wife of Richard Keelan (he was a member of the legendary Michigan band SPIKEDRIVERS and later of the Canadian band PERTH COUNTY CONPIRACY).
The gatefold cover is in very good plus (vg+) condition, shows some wear on seams, spine and corners, has 2 cutout holes on the right side and a promo (not for sale) sticker on back cover.
The record is in excellent minus to excellent(ex-/ex) condition, shows some paperscuffs, hairlines (NOT feelable scratches) - plays great - only hear and there some soft surface clickings in the background

Imortant: Please don´t bid on "G" or "VG" records, and then you are disappointed if you don´t become a MINT copy - unfortunately this is not possible. Also you are bidding on vinyl records - and NOT CDs - that means, that also new records made some surface cracklings here and there and some of the old (especially privat pressings) are NOT hifi demonstration records !!!
