COUNTRY JOE AND THE FISH - I Feel Like I´m Fixin To Die ( Vanguard 79266, GERMANY 1967 - Testpressing ? )
Here we a "white label" (to my mind a test pressing) of the 2nd album from Country Joe, Barry Melton, Bruce Barthol, David Cohen and Chicken Hirsh - I think musically this classic needs no further description. As I mentioned before a German white label pressing - on both sides is printed in brown mini letters "Ludwig Schmidt Gmbh KG" and some handwritten notices - see scan - the cover reads "printed in U.S.A. - but this is a thin, both side laminated cover - like it was made in Germany at this time, and NOT in the USA.
The cover is in top mint minus (m-) condition
The record is also in top excellent to excellent plus (ex/ex+) condition, has some fine hairlines - only here and there some fine soft surface cracklings
