Ultimate Spinach Behold & See RARE 1968 1st Press MGM VG/VG.


For auction is a very good listeners copy of Behold & See, the second album by the Boston based psychedelic rock band, Ultimate Spinach. Released in August 1968, the album came out just 7 months after their self titled debut. An example of the psychedelic music movement known as “Bosstown Sound” that was an attempt to emulate the more popular San Francisco Sound of the time. This copy is a 1968 1st press on MGM labels.


Vinyl is play graded VG. Some light visible surface marks that are not deep. Plays with mild background noise at times but never overwhelming. Most apparent at the beginning of each side. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.


Cover is also in VG condition. Minor shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Stains, ring wear and scuffing on both sides. The open edge has a slight warp. Still solid! Original MGM inner is included but a clear poly sleeve is used to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
