Description

Underground All Stars-Extremely Heavy (Dot DLP25964) MINT vinyl with VG++ cover with some bottom seam wear. Has “Not For Sale Promotional Use Only” embossed on the top left back corner. Comes with the original Dot label inner sleeve. 
Super heavy 1969 underground album produced by Kim Fowley (along with writing the groovy back liner notes which are hysterical) with cool covers of hip songs of the day. Plus legendary psychedelic artist Rick Griffin did the album design and front logo.
Check out sound samples on Wikipedia if you don’t know this cool West Coast pseudo exploitation LP. And the front cover promotional sticker says it all:  “Genuine All-Star Hype! Really Teenage!”

Despite the above-quoted implications that they are an incognito supergroup of well-known talents, it is generally agreed that this oddball psych record is merely the work of late, great, eccentric producer Kim Fowley (who provides lead vocals) and an ad-hoc band of session musicians. Nevertheless, this is a fantastically fuzzy time capsule, and a must for any Fowley completist!
