Underground Vinyl LP The Village Fugs Broadside Ballads of Contemporary Protest

 The Village Fugs first album (they would later be known as The Fugs) has the onerous title of "Sing Ballads of Contemporary Protest, Point of Views, and General Dissatisfaction".  The band was formed by Ed Sanders and Tuli Kupferberg and this album was about sex, drugs, protest, political satire and basically everything represented by the 60's counter culture movement.  This is their first album and is its first release on Broadside Records.  This was recorded prior to their signing with the ESP label.  A hard to find album in any condition due to its target audience and no advertising or airplay at the time.  Vinyl looks excellent, clean with no fingerprints or dirt but there is one hairline scratch which I have pictured. Labels have some spindle marks but are in excellent condition. The four page song list, lyric sheet and band information is missing.  Outer sleeve is the textured double slot cover - with one being for the record and the other for the insert.  Outer sleeve shows wear and has a 4.5 inch tear at the top starting at the opening.  Hard to find record with an average cover but an excellent condition LP. This will be shipped well packed in a box to prevent any damage while in transit. Please review the photos as they are a part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.   2/9
