Description

This sale is for a really cool and hard to find 1960s Soul, R&B and Funk album and United States Navy collectible. This album is by the United States Navy Port Authority Soul Band. It is titled "Together" and features 9 tunes by the 8 person band. This album has been played so it is sold as used. This album was used by the Navy for recruitment purposes, and not sold in stores or commercially. This album was released back in 1969 so it is over 50 years old!! The musicianship and music on this LP is really great!!

I am not a professional record dealer and am not an expert in the different album grading or rankings. I rank and judge by looking at the album and if I play the album how it sounds to my ears. The cover is in really good shape and still has original shrink wrap over most of it. The vinyl looks to be in pretty good shape with no major or deep scratches. I have played it and it is enjoyable to my ears. There is just a little bit of record noise, a small amount of the crackle , snaps and pops found on used records. It doesn’t interfere with listening. It’s possible some of you have professional vinyl cleaning machines and could make it sound even better!! This LP has sat in storage for over 30 years and now has been rescued and looking for a good home!!

This is an harder to find LP and would be really appreciated by those that it helped recruit, and or by those who served in the late 60s. It is not only a 1960s musical collectible, but a US Navy collectible as well. This album might be a great addition to your vinyl collection. Also this LP might be a cool Christmas gift to a US Navy veteran as well.

Please contact me with any questions about this record album you might have before you decide to purchase. This is sold as is, as a used album and all purchase are considered final.

Shipping is via media mail. If you need faster shipping it can be arranged if you contact me to get a price before you purchase. If you want this album shipped outside the United States it will be handled and priced by ebays global shipping Dept
