Description

Universal (MG-202,050/MG-202-051) 1969 promo Various Artists album release of Universal Presents Music From SWEET CHARITY.

It is a fairly rare record distributed to movie theatres with the SWEET CHARITY promotional materials "To Be Used In Theatre Fronts And Lobbies Only".  Typically these would go out with the refuse after the movie run but some managed to go home with one of the theatre employees.
Tracks were taken from various artists and songs they had recorded from the show and not from the movie soundtrack.  If you are a completist collector, included are: BARBRA STREISAND - SHIRLEY BASSEY - PEARL BAILEY - SAMMY DAVIS JR - SKITCH HENDERSON - DUSTY SPRINGFIELD - LESLEY UGGAMS - BAJA MARIMBA BAND - DIONNE WARWICK - PEGGY LEE - JOHNNY NASH - CY COLEMAN - SHANI WALLIS - SAMMY KAYE - SYLVIA SIMS
