Description

Manfred Mann - Up The Junction. Fontana TL5460  Mono UK 1968. Original LP not a reissue!! Matrix No's : 687 983 1L 1 420 and 687 983 2L 1 420


The LP: Near Mint. No visible scratches, marks, hairlines, scuffs etc.. Plays beautifully and does not skip, jump, stick or appear warped. Vinyl is quite heavy. The labels are both clean with very little spindle wear to be seen. The silver on black print is excellent. Matrix numbers are as quoted.
The Sleeve: The outer sleeve is a good VG+ with no cuts or slits and very little creasing. Unlaminated but in very good condition with little edge wear, marks and only slight ring-wear mainly to the front. There are no stickers or names written on the LP disc or the cover. Some minor foxing to the back cover. Vivid colours and the art work have not faded. Flip-back sleeve as expected.
Dispatch to the Customer: The disc is sent by Recorded Delivery. It will have been cleaned on a VPI hoover type professional machine, it will have a new inner sleeve as well as the original and will be in a plastic cover. The disc and the sleeve will be separated in a good cardboard vinyl container with 2 cardboard stiffeners. Please contact me if you have any queries.
The Music Itself: The music is atmospheric, beautiful and the finest piece of work Manfred Mann has ever done. It's a true landmark and testimony of their skill and art. It's unbeatable!!!  It swims from track to track beautifully and shows you that there was a time when music really was worth listening to!
