Description

The Uprisers Let Me Take You Down/Nine To Five Swingtown 791. Richmond, VA 1967. Recorded at one of the most Lo-Fi 60s studios on the planet - Richmond Sound Stages. This one is from the Summer of '67. "Let Me..." is driving and powerful with some pretty boss guitar work. "Nine To Five" has one of those standard progessions that always seems to work. Vocals are a bit under recorded, but that just adds to the cave-like ambience. Both sides can be heard on "Aliens Psychos & Wild Things" Vol 2 (CD) and the Norton LP by the same name. Another to get til you can (maybe) find a clean one. Visually the record is that misnomer grade - GOOD. It plays quite a bit better though - VG or better. It's a RITE pressing.
