Description

An original 1st press of Demons on the UK Bronze label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Tinsley Robor printed cover with the original 'Basing Street' address for Island records. This Basing street address on the rear is absolutely key in confirming 1st issue. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wowzers this is one lovely copy and has seen only very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. If you really want your Uriah Heep to sound super sweet you're going to need to insist on a UK 1st press which has been very well preserved. And this is that copy!! The audio is nothing short of astonishingly good. Pretty much perfect and I can guarantee you're not going to find a better playing copy. Interference is pretty much totally absent. Just lovely clear unhindered audio from start to finish. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments the whole way through.
Cover (Ex) In beautiful condition and has been so carefully looked after down the years. Lovely clean front with only one low-level crease in the top-right. Ditto the rear - astonishingly clean and uncreased. The interior - faultless. Edge wear is very light for this title - just a one inch patch at the top of the right hand panel. The openings are still sharp and the spine is 100% totally intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. What a specimen!!
Inner (Ex+) Unaged. No markings. No splits...absolutely superb.
