Description

An original 1st press of D&Ws on UK Bronze label. Matrix A1U/B1U. Well worth going for the early copies - they were pressed heavy. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold printed by Tinsley & Robor - these are the 1st issues. We also have an original bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Lovin' it - this is a cracking copy. Very clean signalled allowing those lowkey numbers to just flow unhindered. Upbeat numbers are delivered with power and deft. Very little background observable at all. A super impressive start to side 2 - 'Rainbow Demon' starts up really clean so you can hear that warbling metallic effect low in the mix. Acoustic 'Paradise' - superb and totally clean. For someone keen on the best audio - this could be the one for you. Turn it way up and this copy will handle it no problem at all.
Cover (Vg+) A nice clean front with only light handling - and one minor blemish in the butterfly wing [minor]. The rear looks good too with a bit light handing - a horizontal wear line across the centre. The interior looks great - slight mark in extreme bottom right corner. Some edge wear, but nothing bad. Firm edge to opening panel and pocket openings. The text on the spine is fully legible - expect a bit wear in the odd spot. Overall the cover retains great rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) A two inch edge split. has been taped up internally - so just cosmetic issue now.
