Label Conditions: Both immaculate: ultra clean, fresh and highly attractive without a spindle trace to be seen.

Musicians: David Byron - vocals; Gary Thain - bass guitar; Lee Kerslake - drums, percussion; Mick Box - guitars; Ken hensley - keyboards, guitars, percussion.

Brief Info: Fourth album and their first to feature cover artwork by Roger Dean. A band scorned by the critics of the day but their albums were still popular within the progressive rock field and this is arguably their best album. Whether the gorgeous cover attracted attention or not, this was their breakthrough album and it sold well. A lovely cover in superb condition and a beautifully produced record. Quality songs with catchy melodies all performed brilliantly, quite why those critics picked on them so harshly remains a mystery to me.

Cover Grade and Format: VG++ An original 1st press unlaminated gatefold with matt smooth surfaces only minor shelf and ringwear to edges, includes the lyric inner (which is creased on top left see picture) and superb artwork by Roger Dean. It was printed and made in England by Tinsley Robor Ltd and includes the Island i distribution credits.

Vinyl Condition / Grading: EX- with just some fine and faint surface trace marks visible under angled light. A very fine copy that is very clean, shiny, intense black and very solidly pressed. Visually a super record that should please many, if not most collectors.
