Ever wanted a good demonstration of how a near-master analogue copy pressed to a high standard with top mastering can sound...then this example would be precisely the sort of copy you could put on the turntable to demonstrate - what was ORIGINALLY THERE IN THE STUDIO in 1972. Stunning....
An original 1st press of W&D on UK Bronze.  A1/B1. Nice heavy-set pressing...better than other copies from this era. We have the original gatefold cover and it is printed by Tinsley Robor [correct 1st issue!]. ... this copy will SMOKE ANYTHING AND EVREYTHING else on line. For audio - there is no going better. Never witnessed a better copy for audio. It is wel preserved, but it also from the 1G and 1A stampers - which means this is about as close as you WILL EVER find to a DAY 1 Copy. In terms of provenance - THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. If audio is important in your life - why compromise? I mean some titles at this level will cost $$$$...but this 1st issue/ 1st Day copy can be obtained relatively easily without calling the bank manager direct! 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In really super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few very slight marks per side - nothing remotely heavy or troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Ok, what's the best thing about this copy apart from being 1st issue...? It plays clean feed!! And that means you are gonna witness these HEEP classics in fine fettle [like never before]. And you are gonna hear it ALL. Love it.... Little to turn your nose up...A beaut. I've heard a few copies that play great - but this example is practically perfect. Even in those lowerkey acoustic points this baby can manage perfect clean feed. I can't really pick up anything in the background at all. And that just takes this, already excellent mastered title, up to another level. Practically perfect. Even the super fussy tracks... CANNOT FAULT. Dreamy sequences...-s-s-uperb! I picked out a couple of solitary ticks midway through side 2. Stunning. practical FINAL UPGRADE. Best opening to Rainbow Demon I've ever heard....
Cover (Ex-) The front looks nice and flat without the usual issues you tend to find. The rear looks good with just a slight signs of wear. Slightest edge wear in a couple of spots, minor not a problem. The spine is 90%+ intact and text legible. The cover still retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner Sleeve (Ex-) Smart...a 1c.m. edge split.
