Uriah Heep Live 1973 DOUBLE LP UK 1st Press SUPER AUDIO [Ex/Vg+]

Description

An original 1st press of LIVE on UK Bronze labels. Matrix A1/B1- A2/B2. Lovely heavy-set pressing - chunky as hell. Island distribution showing. Don't risk anything later - there is a heck of a lot of variation on this title! Comes housed in an original gatefold with the inner photo pages attached - on heavy card stock. We also have one original inner sleeve too. NOT both.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely shiny condition with only light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Remember the audio on this title is going to be very fussy at times [July Morning?] - only a clean will get you close to a fantastic rendition. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. About as good as you're gonna manage to find. Clean throughout. Maybe a couple of crackles in the odd isolated spot - but precious little. MOST copies do not play this clean - consistently. Many have seen excessive use and it will show! Just some fantastic audio with great dynamics and detail... Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Lovely shiny flat surfaces without much handling signs. the interior white panel has not aged which is good to see. Photo pages are in excellent order and haven't been heavily thumbed.  Very little edge wear with nice firm openings. The spine is fully intact and the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Only one inner sleeve - I think the image was replicated anyway so not that big a deal. Light ageing. NO splits.
