Description

An original 1st press of TMB on the UK Bronze label from 1972. Matrix A1U/B1U. Etching 'G.Kong'. Stampers 1GA/2GL.The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one tiny deviation. Intros an inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. These 1st pressings are pressed on very nice solid vinyl and deliver an absolutely top draw rendition. Beautiful clarity and resolution allowing you to hear deep into the mix. Interference is pretty much non-existent. Even the TEST track 'Rain' plays lovely and clean. All I could make out was a couple of light crackles in a couple of isolated moments. The only brief deviation was in 'Echoes..' - just a couple of slight ticks in the mid-section. Overall a top-level performer which will not fail to impress.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Very nice clean front without the usual surface wear and creasing you can often find. The rear looks good too, but please be aware that someone has signed it. Look at the area above that puma/cat's head - the writing is in turquoise, and hence, it is quite difficult to make out. The interior is in very nice condition - just a tiny signature hidden away over on the right panel. Edge wear is light for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is pretty much entirely intact - which is unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Very little ageing and no splits. The catalogue has been written on one side.
