Description
Uriah Heep
Very ‘Eavy, Very ‘Umble
Vertigo 1970
Stunning pressing of the fantastic debut album from Uriah Heep. Catalogue number 6360 006. Printed matrix numbers 1Y and 2Y indicate this is an original pressing on the legendary Vertigo Records label. Everything about this wonderful record is present and correct. Absolutely essential early metal album that should need no introduction.
Vinyl: Retains that wonderful vinyl sheen with a few light scuffs and hairlines that don’t affect play. Labels are clean and have that trademark LARGE SWIRL indicating the very first few records on the Vertigo label. I would grade at VG+ (possibly EX-). Sounds terrific on my system at home with only very minor pops and the tiniest amount of occasional surface noise.
Inner Sleeve: Folds and one larger rip with small writing in top left corner. Graded at VG-
Sleeve: Great laminated condition gatefold cover with pink VERTIGO symbol present and correct. One fold to top corner and a seam split along the bottom corner (pictured). Some shelf dings though NO tape or writing. Graded at VG- but feels better
I will be listing many great original LPs over the coming weeks at bargain starting prices.
