THE BEATLES: “The White Album.” Used double-LP Mobile Fidelity remastered/reissued in Mint/Mint condition [MINUS POSTER—explanation below]; MFSL Catalog # MFSL 2-072
Condition: Vinyl flawless, played once when first bought; Packaging in perfect condition, color 8 x 10 portraits of John, Paul, George & Ringo simply gorgeous. [Pardon the poor lighting for the pics. The album jacket is pristine white, not “sepia”!]
The following hilarious anecdote is 100% true: I have been fretting for several weeks over what became of the 8 x 10 portraits of the Fab Four that come with this album. I thought sure I’d set them aside somewhere to be framed and hung on the wall at a later time. You see, I am a True Fan of these guys. I re-examined the condition of my Mobile Fidelity version and what do ya know? The portraits were inside the LP jacket all along! I never acquired LPs with the idea of selling them someday. So, since the poster that comes with this album did not impress me, I discarded it decades ago. So the Absolute Completist Collector will find this a serious shortcoming. Am I asking way too much for this item in light of the missing poster? You, the potential buyers, must decide. Just bear in mind the spectacular condition of all that is included! I will package this item with extra care!
