OH MY (Audio here https://clyp.it/u4rnipae ) STOMP OFF LET'S GO (Audio here https://clyp.it/plkmd2rm ) BOTH SIDES RECORDED 24TH SEPTEMBER 1925 The New Orleans Owls played regularly at the Hotel Roosevelt and other hotels in New Orleans between the years of 1922 and 1929. They were one of only a handful of bands that were recorded in the city of New Orleans in the 1920s. The band descended from The Invincibles String Band which had been playing around New Orleans since 1912. This is reportedly the first jazz group record using the Columbia electric system operating from a mobile recording van.
