Description

Attention fans of Twee / C86 / Jangly Pop / Sarah / Creation / Scottish / Glasgow Acoustic Indie

You are bidding for the following:

April Showers - 12 inch single - A side - Abandon Ship. B side Abandon Ship ( Instrumental ) Everytime we say goodbye.

Big Star ( Chrysalis ) - CHS 12 2787 - 1984

This is an extremely rare and sought after vinyl valued by Record Collector at £70.

I am starting at £25 with no reserve to sell.

April Showers were an indie duo from Glasgow comprised of Jonathan Bernstein and Beatrice Colin. April Showers released their only known single " Abandon Ship " on Big Star ( Chysalis subsidiary ) in 1984. This was backed by yet another sparkling piece of pop song genius " Everytime we say goodbye ". Their were plans to release a second single which never happened.

More recently Abandon Ship was included on the 10 years of Marina Records compiliation as a tribute to their brief history.

I would prefer payment by PAYPAL, however, I will accept a cheque ( please note, if you pay by cheque I will not send the item until the cheque has cleared ).

International Bidders please contact me with your location and preferred postal method and I will let you have an estimate for packing and postage.

I will endeavour to post the item out within 72 hours of the auction ending.

Good Luck & Happy Bidding
