This is a very rare opportunity for you to bid for a very rare Buddy Holly LP in great condition

A 1st Pressing of the 1st LP ever to feature Buddy Holly and the 1st of only two LP's featuring Buddy Holly that were released during his lifetime

Copies of this LP come up from time to time, but they are usually much later MCA reissues, sometimes they are Coral reissues, but very rarely does an original Vogue Coral 1st press become available. If they do, they are usually completely wrecked but not this one.

The labels are clean, no stickers, no writing, no damage at all other than minor spindle wear

It is extremely unusual for a 1st press of this 1958 LP to be in such amazing condition - don't miss this very rare opportunity!

Both sides play through very cleanly with just a small skip on Oh Boy! and the very occasional light pop, otherwise the sound quality is excellent. There are of course surface marks that do not affect play. Grade VG+, some may even say excellent.

The cover is original - it has the arched flips on the reverse and is dated 1958. While in one piece, there are the remnants of protective tape around the edges and some spine and edge wear and has a small name in biro on the back. It will come to you in a protective plastic sleeve.

Very low start and no reserve!

As my son has epilepsy I will be donating 20% of the winning bid to The National Society for Epilepsy
