Description
VARIOUS ARTISTS 3LP "THE TROJAN STORY". Issued in the UK in 1971 on the Trojan label Cat No. TALL1. Features 48 tracks by the likes of Laurel Aitken, Blues Busters, Owen Gray, The Astronauts, The Ethiopians, The Maytals, Kentrick Patrick, Roy Shirley, Lynn Tait. Fold-over cover is in VERY GOOD condition - has some wear and scuffing to edges, some creasing along fold and corner wear - but still quite reasonable. Record 1 is in VERY GOOD++ condition - a few light surface marks but plays great. Record 2 is in FAIR condition - has a scratch across the last 1/3 of Track 1 Side 2 and the whole of Track 2 Side 2 which clicks prominently and some other lighter marks which are less intrusive - so apart from the scratch mentioned it still plays very well. Record 3 is in VERY GOOD condition - has some light surface marks and plays very well with an occasional bit of noise. So not in MINT condition but still a superbly enjoyable compilation of Reggae and Ska from the 1960s.
All records and CDs are thoroughly played to assess condition in addition to a visual inspection.
