1st ever releases by Melvins SOUNDGARDEN Malfunkshen
VARIOUS ARTISTS "Deep Six" LPOriginal and OUT OF PRINT 14-song, 6 artist 12" VINYL Compilation LP as released by C/Z Records, US (CZ 01) back in 1986.
True ONE and ONLY vinyl pressing from 1986 features the first ever recorded releases by the Melvins, Soundgarden and Malfunkshen. All exclusive tracks, at least at the time, some may remain that way. Never re-pressed on vinyl -- remains OOP. Re-issued on CD by A&M and at least one label in Japan but never again on vinyl. Also of note in case you don't already know this but both Green River and Malfunkshen spawned both Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam… As well, this is the very first record ever released on the C/Z label. This specific title is part of a 5,000 piece record collection I am in the process of unloading and comprised wholly of fringe and underground music of all stripes. Punk, Post-Punk, KBD, SXE, Industrial, Experimental, Metal, Electronica, Goth, Free Jazz, Jazz, Sound Effects, etc.... so check back as I'll be posting on average 50 pieces or more a week. All records in this collection run primarily as being NEAR MINT with many being more to the top end of the MINT spectrum and with very few pieces being anything less then VERY GOOD PLUS (unless stated otherwise which will be seldom)....
