Description
This is the "VALENTYNE SUITE" 1969 UK LP by COLOSSEUM early 1st Press on the VERTIGO label.
Number V01 - It was the first ever LP released on the collectable VERTIGO records label.

The LP was bought on its release in 1969, and is an early 1st pressing.
The vinyl is on the highly collectable VERTIGO label, number V01 847 900 VTY, and has the following very early 1st press matrix numbers:
- Side 1: 886 775 1Y * 1 420 1 1 1 1
- Side 2: 886 775 2Y * 1 420 1 1 1 1

Record is EX+++, the vinyl is unmarked, nice black sheen, with just a few spindle marks visable under strong light, it does not look like a 43-year old record.
The LP plays superbly, with no pops or bangs, deos not stick or jump and is quiet between tracks.
The cover is VG+ and is a gatefold and was not laminated, but is in good shape.
The inside of the gatefold is also very good, with just some handling wear.
There is just partial ringwear on the back cover.
There is some wear on the corners, and on the top and bottom edges.
The spine has some wear spots, but the lettering is visible.
The record sleeve with this album is NOT the original VERTIGO swirl.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
