IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been a buyer of vinyl records on Ebay and elsewhere online for quite some time so I know well all pain and frustration the buyers get due to incorrect or misleading descriptions of records provided by some sellers (even 100 % positive - my experience) that unfortunately becomes an increasing problem on Ebay. So my description is made from a buyer`s and not from a seller`s standpoint. My goal is to sell and make purchase pleasant to a buyer otherwise why buy music.
A RARE and HARD TO FIND the 1st pressing of the great album The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other.. by Vand der Graaf Generator. These days you can rarely see this gets on surface. 1970 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on the CHARISMA PINK SCROLL LABEL under catalogue # CAS.1007 matrices A+G / B+G in a matt gatefold cover.
The cover is in EX (-) condition - please see pictures . I have tried to visualize as many flaws to the cover as possible. It has no seam splits, unnecessary spots or writings, no creases. Overall wear. Moderate edge and corner wear as well as a bit of ring wear on the back. The spine is scuffed closer to its corners.
Overall this is a pretty much OK example of the cover.
The vinyl is visually in strong EX condition having just surface hairlines not affecting play. There is one 1cm non-feelable surface scuff track A3. I have played it in full prior to listing and overall playback is excellent with nothing but some light background noise in quiet places not at all irritating. Certainly NO jumps, skips or pops. My conservative play grade is strong EX.
The rough Pink Scroll labels are in GREAT condition having virtually no signs of wear. There must be spindle hole marks but you can only see something there if you take a powerful zooming device and put under strong halogen light.
Great copy of this sought for pressing.
Grading is based on the Record Collectors Grading System.
PACKAGING
LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. Records are removed from the sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
