Van Der Graaf Generator 1970 The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other
Up for auction is this second LP by Peter Hammill and Co. Released on the Charisma Label, this is a second edition featuring the Mad Hatter logo and purchased second-hand by the current owner in the mid 1970s. The record has just been played and is very clean, with minimal pops and no jumps – a blessing as this is a very dynamic performance from the musicians. Some pops appear at the beginning of certain tracks, but all are just as quickly gone. The gatefold sleeve is still clean and crisp (see photos) and without crumple of any kind, even to the spine. There is some wear to the edges of the spines (see photos), but again this is not unsightly. A price sticker at the top left hand corner has left residue but nothing much to notice, I saw it for the first time describing the item for this auction. Many thanks for looking.
