Description
I bought this album over 20-years ago and playing it again now confirms the memory of excellent stereo sound quality reproduction even though it was recorded live at a music club in New York - and also that its great to hear Van Morrison playing at a live show his well known songs.
Recorded at the Bottom Line music club, New York, early show 1 November 1978.
Vinyl Grade: +VG, has a high gloss surface. Has several scattered very light marks/hairlines that you would not expect to hear. No gaps between the songs, a continuous live recording.
Sound Quality: fully play tested and plays like it looks or higher.
Cover: heavy cardboard, nice and flat, age discolouration browning, small edge wear on top left and opening edge.

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.
Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.
Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition.
Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.
Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.
Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song’s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.
Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.
Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.
