Description
- Van Morrison released his fourth studio album "His Band And The Street Choir" in November 1970 on Warner Bros. Records. It includes "Blue Money" and "Domino" which became his most successful single release.
- This rare copy (WS 1884) is from the first pressing and is still in its original factory shrink wrap. It's easily in VG+ condition as is the original gatefold lyrics insert. The disc plays cleanly and I grade it VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. Please see the pictures, but note that because of the shrink wrap the two photos of the inner gatefold are from another copy.
- It was mastered by the legendary TEC and Grammy Award winner Robert Ludwig at Sterling Sound in NYC. The dead wax is stamped WS1884 39780-A-1E/F on Side 1 and WS1884 39781-1-1E on Side 2.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
