VARIOUS ARTISTS, Bumpers, UK Ist Press, 1970, 2xLP
Pink Island, IDP 1
Prog/psych monster .... best copy I've seen in the last 25 years. And look at the line-up: Blodwyn Pig, Mott The Hoople, If, Spooky Tooth, Free, Jethro Tull, Clouds, renaissance, Cat Stevens, John+Beverley (Martyn), Quintessence, King Crimson, Nick Drake, Fotheringay, Fairport Convention, Traffic, Bronco, Dave Mason, Jimmy Cliff. For the full track listing check out the photos.
KEEPER COPY:
VINYL: NM ... I don't grade Mint unless it's sealed. Probably only played once in its life.
COVER: NM- ... the lightest of shelf wear and a little bit of corner wear on the front top and bottom left.
GRADINGS I USE:
(M) MINT = VINYL absolutely perfect in every way, never played.
(NM) NEAR MINT = VINYL nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. COVER should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.
(VG++) VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks, very light scratches and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly, with only barely detectable crackles; a slight noise at the beginning is allowable. COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
(VG+) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL has light scratches, may have light crackle or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, and no more loudly than the music. COVER has normal wear such a ring wear, creases, wear at corners, edges & spine.
(VG) VERY GOOD = In between G+ and VG+
(G+) GOOD PLUS = VINYL has scratches, may have continuous crackles, but not too many, a few pops maybe present and has obvious surface noise. COVER has more than normal wear and tear. Still will be an OK listen, but perhaps more a filler for a collector.
I do not list any items under the G+ grading. I do grade on the conservative side.
