Description
This is a copy of the 1985 UK Indie compilation LP – Obscure Independent Classics Volume 1, featuring Various Artists who could all be classed as “obscure” – there is truly some weird stuff on here, mixed in with a range of obscure indie pop classics. The artists include The Kamikaze Sex Pilots, The Deep Freeze Mice, German industrial band P16.D4, The Disco Zombies, and Alvaro singing “Drinkin’ My Own Sperm”. There is an insert containing credits and artwork about the bands included here.
The sleeve notes say “This L.P. isn't devoted to any kind of music, incidentally, it includes several pop songs with tunes, some noisy jazz influenced music, a couple of bits of semi classical experimental music, some Chilean folk music and an obscene phone call.”
This is my personal copy, and the grading of the Vinyl record here is set conservatively as “Very Good (VG)”. The Outer Sleeve and Insert are both graded as “Very Good Plus (VG+)”. The Inner Sleeve is rated as “Very Good (VG)”, although I will also supply a brand new one.

For deliveries to mainland Europe, the service will be “International Tracked & Signed”.
Packaging: item will be posted in custom MusicMax mailers with stiffeners; vinyl will be removed from sleeve and placed in separate protective liners to minimise risk of damaging the sleeve spines.
