Description

A great opportunity to buy a FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP from the 1970s by Various Artists called "Tighten Up Volume Seven".

This is a U.K. pressing released in 1973 on the Trojan label (TBL 196) (stereo) and has 12 tracks (see photos for artists and track listings).

The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- TBL 196 A-1U (side one) and TBL 196 B-1U (side two).

The vinyl is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are some light surface marks evident, but nothing that detracts from the sound quality. I have played the whole of both sides and apart from the odd click, they play fine and sound great.

The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are spindle marks visible on both sides, when tilted towards the light.

The record is flat and has no warps of any description.

The vinyl is housed within a plain white inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition considering its age.

The front-laminated cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are still strong and the printing on the spine is still readable (see photo). The back cover is basically clean and unmarked.

This is a collectable FIRST PRESSING TROJAN LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
