For over 20 years, Tramp Records has specialised in uncovering privately released gems from the 60s, 70s and 80s, painstakingly tracking down artists, documenting their stories and issuing deluxe compilations. With Peace Chant Vol. 8, the label once again turns its focus to German productions following the groundbreaking Part 7. This double LP features rare and unreleased tracks alongside overlooked treasures, all selected purely for musical quality rather than collector hype. There are endless standouts here from the free-flowing jazz expression of Music Community's 'Groove Rock' to the smoky dinner jazz sounds of Ulmer Jazz Quintet's 'Grandfathers Waltz.'
