Berlin selectors Dixon and Ame have treated the Secret Weapons line as a testing ground since the mid-2000s, slipping advance progressive treats into marathon sets long before they surfaced on Innervisions. Part 17 gathers those yearly finds into a three-vinyl haul, stacking up Emanuel Satie's 'Happy', Aera's 'Y E A H', Skatman's 'V A M P', Claudio H's 'Seasons' and Deer Jade's 'Firmament' with deeper transfusions from Basti Grub, Mehill, Agustin Giri and Moritz. The series began when Dixon and Ame started burning custom CDRs to road-test productions they felt were too odd or too early for release; several later became Innervisions staples.
